Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American writer of cook books for many decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina began her career working in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy documents. Her first impression was that her job interesting and stimulating but eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the store extremely successful before selling it off and picking up the pen and writing her first book. The cookbooks were followed by many more and magazine columns that were added. The Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. In addition, she sells a variety of items ranging from cooking materials to storage and equipment. Ina has never been to any cookery schools or worked in a restaurant and is completely self-taught. Her name is known for her effortless style of entertainment as well as her simple food preparation. Her most famous recipes are the lemon chicken that she grills in a skillet, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
