Hayley orrantia is a native of America. She is primarily an actor, however she is also a singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". Even though she sings, her primary passion is music. Music, according to her, is the very first thing she enjoys. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. As she grew to 12 years old, her music began to take more serious form and she began professional training. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was only 14 when she released her first album of cover songs. From that moment on, she has never been back. Orrantia is an American native who has Hispanic roots. Even though she spoke only English throughout her childhood and not been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic origins. Her goal is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs and studying the Spanish language. 'Hasta Verte' a song she recorded in Spanish is one such attempt. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first Season of The X Factor. Orrantia received 4 "yeses" to the panel of judges on the Seattle live audition stage after being selected from her YouTube entry. Though she initially auditioned as a solo artist, during "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed into a group for the rest of auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week of live shows.
